Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and leader for Vitalief’s clinical trial budgeting and coverage analysis outsourcing services.
- Design, launch, and profitably grow a scalable budgeting and coverage analysis service offering in collaboration with Service Delivery leadership.
- Review clinical trial protocols and develop comprehensive clinical trial budgets using internal teams and advanced AI-enabled technologies.
- Oversee budgeting and coverage analysis activities, ensuring compliance with CMS, FDA, NIH, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead and contribute to consulting engagements, supporting high-impact financial and operational initiatives.
- Partner with Business Development to support sales efforts, including client presentations, proposals, and solution design.
- Develop client proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs); play an influential role in closing new business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to evolve innovative clinical research service offerings.
- Support and advise clients during sponsor and CRO budget negotiations.
- Represent Vitalif at industry conferences, panels, and thought leadership forums.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in clinical research operations, financial management, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Deep expertise in clinical trial budgeting and coverage analysis across oncology and non-oncology studies.
- Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop Statements of Work and/or other types of business proposals and gain stakeholder consensus.
- Proven success negotiating budgets with sponsors and CROs.
- Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading teams, managing complex projects, and maintaining senior-level client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and building new services.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% within the United States.
